Accessibility statement
The standard this site aims for, where it falls short, and how to report a problem.
Our accessibility target
This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 at level AA.
Text is measured at a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background, every control works from the keyboard with a visible focus ring, and the cover and photographs carry text descriptions.
Known limitations
The pitch drawings are decoration, so screen readers skip them; the parts and chapters they carry are always written out as text too.
The site has had automated checks at phone and desktop sizes, but not yet a manual audit with a screen reader.
